Ok so I've decided today to share with you a  awesome recipe.

                                                                             WACKY CAKE!

                                                                                   Ingredients

                                1.     1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
                                2.      3/4 cup sugar
                                3.      1/4 cup natural cocoa powder
                                4.       3/4 teaspoon baking soda
                                5.       1/2 teaspoon table salt
                                6.       5 tablespoons vegetable oil
                                7.       1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
                                8.       1 teaspoon vanilla  extract
                                9.        1 cup water

                                                                                    Directions

     1. Adjust oven rack to middle position and heat oven to 350 degrees. Coat 8-inch-square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.

      2. Whisk flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt together in 8-inch-pan. Make 1 large and 2 small craters ( or holes )  in the dry ingredients in the pan. Add oil to large crater and vinegar to a small crater and vanilla to the last small crater. Pour water into pan, and mix until just a few streaks of flour remain. IMMEDIATELY put pan into oven.      If you are confused about the the crater thing don't be :)  It's just three holes,  1 large hole with oil in it and  2 small holes,  one with the distilled white vinegar in it, and the other with the vanilla in it. The Holes are made in the whisked dry ingredients that you put into the 8-inch pan.  This keeps these 3 ingredients from mixing to early. If they do the chemical reaction they make when together could mess up the constancy of the cake if done to early. You mix it only after adding the water, and right before putting it into the oven. Don't worry that's the next step.   The craters ( or holes can be made with the back of a spoon).   Thought i should explain that,  Cris had to explain it to me, my home EC. teacher that taught me this recipe :)

     3. Bake until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out with a few moist crumbs attached, about 30 minuets. Cool in pan. ( If tightly wrapped, cake will keep for 3 days at room temperature.

If a frosting is not desired a simple dusting of confectioner sugar will compliment nicely.
